Responsiveness is fundamental in good communication and is imperative for a working relationship.  To be responsive simply means answering or replying.  In business, especially one of service like landscaping, it is very important that a call is returned or a situation is handled promptly in order to build a reputation of trust.  It establishes peace of mind for the customer and it paves the way for a great working relationship.  As this style is developed, it provides service that is well worth the customer’s money. In a relationship, both sides deserve to feel like they are important enough to be responded to.

In most relationships, dissatisfaction begins when desires by one person are not met by another.  The reason for this is usually a breakdown in communication.  A landscape company may be working hard on what it perceives to be important, but in reality they aren’t doing the things that are important to the customer.  As with most relationships, this can be corrected with better communication.

Three Step Process

Your landscape company is responsible for making sure your concerns are addressed and expectations met, and to do so with excellent communication.  Your partnership has value and protecting the value of your property is the goal. In most cases, we all feel like we have communicated clearly and yet still aren’t being listened to.  None of us wants to repeat the work that we have already done, and often we feel like we are spinning our wheels, taking care of the same issues over and over again.  Building relationships through communication is essential.
